Day 18 of section at KKHS

Staff meeting all told about the new format for the year seven form books. Dean wants to emphasise the positive and remove the negative (unwaka behaviour). Teachers requested to email any concerns directly to the dean for action.
“Y to the sky”, my associate learnt something from me today. I have always used this little rhyme with students when doing coordinates and graphs as it is catchy and easy to remember.
Great lesson with just five questions put on the white board for the

revision of perimeter and area. Good to have a change from the text book. For some reason, the students took to it and were very productive with excellent attitudes and thorough working.
Wet lunch time today. Means all form teachers must open their classroom for their students to have lunch inside.
More light at the end of the tunnel.

Associate had prepared well to teach “Story Graphs” to her year8 class. Took a photo of her white board. Well laid out and so very neatly written. Clear and concise just as it should be.

  1. I like your associates 'story graph' - it gives a meaningful reason for students to include the titles and labels etc
